New personal best at NMCA

Had a great weekend at a great event. Walked away with a few bucks for making the semi finals in heads up and grabbed a new personal best.

The new 17 inch HOOSIER SLICKS I got through PPP really hooked.

Very nice man. I was supposed to be getting some of the Hoosiers but not sure what happened. So they hook pretty well you say? I can see some sidewall crinkle in the pic which is good

Ya, stock tranny with the blue top solenoids. Its in dire need of replacement, Im giving up several tenths during the shifts.

These slicks hook big time.

The Challenger belongs to Doug Duell, professional racer. He has another car called Dragon Wagon' that he ran in another class that weekend. He's the real deal, google him up and you'll see, lol.

You will be and most likely faster. Im curious as to what the quickest ET is on a stock NAG1 tranny. I know HemiC's best on the stocker was 10.68.

 

I have a feeling its you,I dont know if I will be faster then you Dan.Remember you still have more cubes.I will be lucky to see 470-475 rwhp.Now I can make up lost cubes with N20 but then again so can you
With me in the same boat as you tranny wise I dont see making any serious numbers until I get the coin together for a tranny.

Awesome to see you hit some new bests despite the heat/humidity Dan. No doubt a tranny and some nice fall weather puts you real real low in the 10's

 

You LX guys are lucky with the stock NAG1's. They seem to last a longer with a litte less weight and 2wd. The jeeps won't go 10's on a stocker.
