What asshole would make his wife work on their anniversary? One that needs income. Actually she suggested that we work it when the opportunity became available.
Happy Anniversary Hal and Cindy! I just got back from Texas where we celebrated my in-laws 40th Anniversary. They are Mexican and there were a hundred people there!!
Congrats Cindy and Hal... my wife and I are coming on #25.. (and I am still alive) .. I scored some terrace section tickets at the Hollywood Bowl to see Andrea Bochelli next weekend.. she just found out tonight. so i am in the plus side for at least 3 months..
Thanks everyone. We only had to work till 5PM. Stopped at a good German restaurant on the way home. The atmosphere was really tacky. Had live music. The guy playing the accordian owned the Sausage Shop next door. He did a few German songs, but most was like elevator music on an accordian. Wasn't bad until he would start singing. Sounded like Karioke at a Senior Center. The hostess and wait staff where all hispanic weaing tank tops, T's and jeans. Cindy and I had a great time laughing at it all and it reminded us of the movie "A Christmas Story" when they had to go to the Chinese restaurant for Christmas dinner. What's sad was that a the food was really good.
