Okay he did show up last night and it was packed and raining all around us DA was +2330-OUCH. He told me he was only running the 1/8 since he was bracket racing so I said fine we can run em straight up thru the 1/8 and after that its drivers call to the 1/4. This was the weirdest night racing I have ever seen you could do a full 360 turn and see rain in each direction and some lightning and only one time for about a minute did it sprinkle at the track, the HEMI GODS wanted BLOOD-MUUUUUAAAAAHHHHHHHHHAAAA!!

I SPANKED THE EVER LOVING SHIT OUT OF HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IN FRONT OF THE LARGEST CROWD EVER AT THE TRACK AND IT IS ON VID (WILL POST SOON AS ITS NOT MY VID CAMERA)

He was so aprehensive that he red lighted by -.007 almost a perfect tree, I cut a horrible .215 but caught him by the 330, his 60' was a 1.91 mine was a 1.80.

    1/8 ME-8.21 @ 83mph
    1/8 NOVA-8.76@ 78mph

I ran it to the end and ran a 12.92 damn DA was kicking our asses last night but I corrected the time to a 12.63 so still where I want to be.

Nice Wade! Did you talk to him before and/or after? What did he say? What was he running under the hood? What year was it?

Yeah we briefly talked before running and after. He was more interested in trying to understand what exactly the Jeep was and never got a chance to see under his hood or ask any questions about his car. To be fair I'm sure he is having some type of issues with his car he said last year with a different setup he was running in the 7's and thinks he is having some fuel issues but you run what you brung and suffer the consequences right!!!

Well, he knew he wasn't running in the 7's from last time... but he still thought he could smoke a JEEP lol.

You're too young, but you know that they used to stamp the year in the turn signal and tail light lenses (can't remember when they stopped doing that). I think maybe the original headlights too but replacements weren't marked. That was THE way to be sure what year a car was. 1/2 years were a problem.
