Look what I woke up to this morning. Luckily my son's car was spared. Does anyone know what I'll be doing today? Ken
holy shit .. that wouldnt have started his morning out right .. and this morning your looking in the phone book for a tree removal company!
hahahaha. ..."Honey, it's after 7, you going to get out there and get started or what?" Heh... test'n'tune is this weekend. Split a log, earn 10 minutes of lift time
Yaaaaaaa buddy now your talking, earn your prize!!. Gezz Ken, that's the biggest feather duster I've ever seen.
If i lived closer i'd have that tree outa there in 20 min's.... I dont know why but when I have a chainsaw people run? LOL
Having two acres with lots of trees I've used a chainsaw a few times, but mine is tired, so I went out this morning a bought me a nice new 18" Echo chainsaw. The sad part about all this tree stuff is that now I have to wait to install this nice piece of hardware that I just got yesterday from Cam. Ken
ssssssweeeeeeeeeeeeeeettt.... my parents thought i was weird when i was 18 and asked for a chainsaw for christmas...after the amount of use its gotten, they dont think its so weird LOL.... Any reason you choose Echo over STIHL?
All the rest of my garden tools are Echo, and I've had the best luck with them lasting longer than one season. I at least got the mess cleaned off the driveway for now. Has anyone seen anything like this? The center is rotten. Ken
I have a smaller 16" Poulan Chainsaw and has lasted me for a good 6 years or something like that... I cut down 3 35' + trees with it and chopped em to bits (what can i say i enjoy using a chainsaw LOL) throw in a ton of branches and xmas trees and god knows what else helping the neighbors...im impressed with it... If I go up to a for real real one ill have to look into echo! :friends: and yes i have seen something like that my apple tree in the back yard which has a very large base is so rotted on the inside you cna stick a 5' shovel all the way in from tip of the handle to the spade at the end! lol... im trying to convince everyone that it needs to come down before THAT happens to it...not having much luck...i guess they want to destroy our sun room LOL
damn ken, i was worried about the charger there for a sec until i remembered its got a nice little barn to sit in most of the time. haha
Why does that not surprise me? Probably would have taken me a week to do that. I think it's not that uncommon for trees (dying) to rot from the inside out. Can't remember if it's mostly due to disease or not. [Edit] Here you go.... http://www.na.fs.fed.us/spfo/pubs/howtos/ht_haz/ht_haz.htm#intro excerpt:
