At least he beat him heads up. I'm guessing That was an R/T with a high 13 run.

The 09 R/T is no joke too bad things at Chrysler suck becuase the SRT team really needed to step it up on the performance side to distance themselves from the R/T

Lousy times for both cars! Those wheels on the Chally are SRT wheels...so it's got to be an SRT.

not necessarily... you can get a J option on the R/T and get the 20 in wheels and tires that almost look like the SRT chally wheels...

Dont forget track conditions and things like elevation....Ron knows well that 6000' elevations can change 12 second cars into 14 second sleds..

Not like Ron. You can tell from the vid that they're below the tree line.

I hate to say it but the Camaro is a better bang for the buck than the Chally. If I remember right it is priced considerably lower than an SRT. Also looking at the stripes on the hood that is an SRT.

it's also got the SRT flat black spoiler. The R/T spoilers are paint matched.

Weather didn't look bad enough to add on a second in this case

It's already been proven that the new Camaros are UNDER-performers in other instances i've seen

    LOL

Its nice to see new mucle cars running at the strip. Would a 6 speed auto have an advantage on the Chally?

If its Englishtown, on a BAD day an SRT8 should run 13.4 unless the driver is really incompetent lol....

Even I can run 13.3 at Etown when teh DA is above 2000...which is astronomically high for Englishtown lol....

my guess is the DA was between 1000 and 2000 if it was a bad day there....

If that's Raceway Park in NJ, DA should not be a huge issue. Even at 80 degrees the DA would only be about 2000, and the 13.82 would only correct to about 13.5.
New car needing a driver mod.

mph tells the story.......There's no way an R/T is going to run nearly 105 mph.
