New DRs and New idle video

So I finally got my DRs on the car, even with the 18" skinnies I still had to grind a little on the inside of the wheel at spots to clear my 8 Piston Brembos...



I powder coated these things months ago but... well now they are finally on

Dang Nathan, that's looking great! Did you repaint again? (talking about the car).

I don't think I've seen that exact treatment on the hood stripe. They ALL looked great but something looks a tiny bit different?

How long have the mirrors been trimmed? and I don't remember the eyelids standing out either.

And you've had dash gauge faces for some time but have we seen the color matched rings yet?

You been holding out on us? maybe it's time for an interior/exterior photoshoot? Everything's looking pretty awesome at the moment.

The Exterior paint has not changed since..... October 2006.

It looks different than others since it is, I was one of if not the 1st to do the center hood a different color but mine only goes on the hood and the sides of the car, not the roof. Another difference than most is the red section I left going from the grille to the shaker... thank you for noticing.


As for the trim rings and such I did those for SEMA this year, also the center bezel, console, and did the headliner in Suede.

trust me, this is the loudest thing I have ever heard....

that was back in 10/06? haha, we've been noticing for a while. That would be when you went from flat to gloss, ran it all the way across and cut the hole for the shaker I think. I was so impressed with the previous scheme that it took a while for this one to grow on me. :grin:

 

um, my car has never been flat...always glossy

I totally agree with that!

but way back when, I think there were two (red?) magnums with the wide hood stripes. I'm pretty sure one of them was striped in flat black? I may have confused that one with yours.

 

Electrified used to have a red/black R/T but it have the black all the way on the roof, no center red stripe on the grille, and a viper style hood.
