These units are made from 1/4" by 2" steel DOM tubing and conform to NHRA requiements. They are required for cars running faster than 11.5 or if using slicks, required regardless of ET. The unit mounts to the transmission support bracket and will move with motor and tranny and will never rub or come in contact with the driveline or tunnel. And if it does, you have more problems then a busted driveline. The base bracket is laser cut for a perfect fit and jig welded to maintain exacting dimensions. These will be powder coated safety red for ease of visability with the Tech Inspector and will not show below your ride. The bracket mounts safety into the tunnel area, free from obstruction and is not exposed to road damage. Each unit will come with two grade 10.9 mounting bolts to replace the factory units. PLUS, a informational tutorial installation guide that is sure to make one heck of a paper airplane when your finished. The price is $100.00 per unit (red only) and includes shipping in the lower 48. All units will be powder coated safety red, unless other arrangements are made for custom colors. So for now, I'd like to introduce CTP's first offering And yes, this will require removal of the drive shaft for installation. But that's a 30-40 minute job even for the most mechanically challenged. Also custom colors can be done. but there will be a $10.00 upcharge and no garantee of an absolute color match.
