Meh.... I'm going to use a industrial floor brush (dipping into the acid solution) to acid wash the floor.... Mainly because I don't have any "waders". :dunno2: All the rest is good advice tho.
I've smelled worse..... :dunno2: LOL..... There was this one chick..... ...... ah, nevermind.:hypno:
Well.... Here's the plan. :future: 1. Rent a grinder and grind the floor (remove all the old paint) 2. Check condition of the concrete. 3. Clean with TSP and pressure wash 3. I'm going to stain the floor.... I've found a nice Quikrete Etching Floor Stain (http://www.quikretecoatings.com/etchingStain.jsp ). Going with the "Coffee" color, as it matches their cobblestone driveway the best. You follow it up with another pressure washing after it dries, then with a clear high-gloss epoxy sealer (two coats). Should look like this when it's done: I'll be sure to take pictures, before and after. But, I think it's going to be a good alternative to polishing the floor. Plus, if the stain doesn't take for some reason, I can always go the UCoatIt Epoxy route.... no harm no foul. :dunno2:
Dahahahahaha. Funny you should say that, I got to tell you a story. My neighbor has this huge tree in their front yard that keeps it in total shade all the time. So their front yard is basically dirt and pine needles. So when they have a barbeque or people over they get out there and rake the front yard... This is going on yesterday while I'm working on my bracket. Him and the kids are out there cleaning up the front yard. Kids aren't happy about it and there's a good bit of whining and yelling. At one point I hear "but it's DIRT. What's the point of raking dirt off of dirt!" LOL i guess you had to be there.
