This is going to make doing brake stands kind of difficult isn't it? As soon as you put the engine under a bit of load the brakes are going to release...
why???? the gauge sending unit is sealed and only reads vaccum, it does not "suck" or bleed off any vacumm at all. my blow off valve is also tapped into the line as well. best place i could think of to gauge boost pressure. i have had zero issue so far.....
Haha, I was just thinking that you have a vacuum line going to the master cylinder to assist braking force by providing ...vacuum... Now, when you put your foot in it, you're turning your vacuum into ...boost...
will happen regardless of gauge dave!!! dahahahahahahahhahaha it is....that was last weekend..... this thread is kinda old. i installed the boost and a/f gauges a while back in preparation for the blower! lol
lol you nut case. And Chris put the boost line where I had mine, per my recommendation. All is good in that location, Dave. tee hee
yeah ben, got a base tune from johan to get the car running. once i have all the small stuff buttoned up on things, i will take it down to him and let him tune it for pump gas and for my meth kit. the meth kit is one of the things i am still working on right now! lol here is a sneak peek of work so far..... btw dave, you will notice the "t" in the brake vacuum line for the boost gauge, boost a pump, meth kit, and blow off valve...... yeah, alot going on behind the manifold!!! lol
 My dad had a '36 Buick straight 8 special. When you put your foot in it the windshield wipers would stop. lol
