I would but the last car I built is no longer mine and has been changed around to suit the new owners needs.
When I did it though it was an HHP Forged 6.1,Frank Racing heads with PSI springs and titanium retainers,HHP Stage 4 426 cam,FRI ported intake,Kooks headers,Billy Boat cat back and a paxton making 12psi....that was the way the car was sold.....prior to that I was happy with FRI heads,FRI Tomahawk and a ZEX 100 shot with 11.5 et's.

I would do things a little differently this time around, but am not wanting to share that just yet.

CMW has been great during both motor builds. The build nearly three years ago and my current project.

Scott and Bob will not mismatch during a build and they are always asking the customer questions about their expectations in the motor to ensure the build is done right.

Wasn't there a thread done about a flow test on a few sets of heads not too long ago?

If you understand the dynamics of flow....
You can port heads AND it doesn't matter whose head because you are working with a flow path that only has a few variables. The better you are at understanding this flow path the better you are.

    However
Wet flow testing will give you better results for seeing more detail in the dynamics of the flow path through the head.
But it dosn't necessarily you have done a better job, but deffinately better trhan not wet flowed.
The HP gain is the only way to test the result.

I mean...one of the biggest advantages of wet flow work is during flow testing with water, you can SEE the "disturbances" in the movement of the water thru the ports to show where the flow needs to be improved.
It is pretty hard to see air doing this.

Wet flow should also promote smoother flow if done correctly.

And of course one of the most important...
The design of the cam lobes. "Variable Orifices" are hell on smooth flow. The "Variable Orifice" is the valve.

Oh yea.....how the flow enters and exits the head plays a big role too.
Enters the head... through intake manifold design.
Exits the head... ie header and collector design makes a big difference in how a head will flow.

And of course one of the most important...
The design of the cam lobes......"Variable Orifices" are hell on smooth flow. The "Variable Orifice" is the valve.

Which is better? CNC Ported or Hand Ported Heads. :search:
