cool!! i get one last shot at trying to bring you down while still n/a!!! lol supposed to be real cold that night!!!!
nice work chris .. the guages have to get their reading from somewhere, so as it was easy to power the guages .. what / where did you have to connect to get the actual guage reading .. please keep in mind I know dick about wiring .. also .. why did you get a red read out instead of blue ..
anthony - the power was easy, just tapped into a switched hot lead in the harness that ran down the pillar. the a/f gauge gets its info from a wideband sensor that screws into a bung i had welded into the exhaust. the boost gauge has a fitting that tapped into the vacuum line that runs from the back of the intake manifold to the master cylinder booster. pretty easy!
sounds difficult .. btw .. what do you do when directions say "connect and solder red wires" (seriously)
That means that you have to connect and solder the red wires  ... and it means that they shouldn't be connected by just twisting them together and taping them or using those squeeze connectors. They should be soldered together. That's not for strength. It's for the electrical connection. Twisting or crimp connectors introduce electrical noise and loss. It's ok sometimes and other times it's not.
