stay with a canned tune... once you change Cam or heads... or add NOS or supercharger... then go with a CMR Tune...

You may want to get an email one, and save the big bucks for now. I got a NOTICEABLE difference from my email CMR tune over the canned ones. The canned ones (especially the 93) tend to run lean as well. The difference in shifting is immense and for me it was good money spent. Everything seemed to smooth out and pull harder as well.

What he said ^^^ You can get an emailed tune pretty cheap and its worth it till you make the dive into heads/cam. IMHO but what do I know!

yes, I'm in Vegas and I also own a srt6 Crossfire in addition to the Charger SRT8 (hence the screen name).

How difficult is the aFe installation for someone who is not tech savy?? I was thinking get the CMR tune and have them install the CAI as well...

And by the looks of your vehicle description under your username, you also have a 2004, Red SRT4. haha

I believe your dad is a member here as well?

You should be able to install the CAI yourself in about 45 minutes?

This is one of my first car projects and I was able to install my CAI in an hour or so. Most of the time was trying to figure out how to get the Hennessey CAI down into the front end as it does not sit on top of the engine compartment like most of the CAI's do. It was super easy even for a n00b like myself however. You should have no problem.

    You can doooo it!

Just be careful when removing and replacing the Intake Air Temperature sensor. The tip part that sticks into the CAI is sort of glass like and you can break it. You can twist and turn it from the outside but just try to keep it going straight out and straight back in. Don't pry sideways on it.

use a little wd-40 on the sensor and it slides in like your pecker in a mexican whorehouse!
