I have been searching these forums for easy, must have, cheap mods. We should make one detailed (with part #'s and prices), and direct list of mods anyone can do in a day.
I have been making a list of mods I need, help me help every new owner.

    So far I have found:

    1. Stant Radiator cap (prevents coolant spray) #11334 about $5, 5 min mod.
    2. Valuecraft/Motorad 180 deg. Thermostat. (cooler temps = more power) Auto Zone #4128 or #4127(176 deg.(edit)) $12.99, 20 min mod.

What other cheap, easy, must-have mods do you know about?
What is your favorite cheap mod?

    Brake duct mod. $5.00

Drop in K&N--not as good as a quality CAI but $49.99.

Also fwiw, the 4127 is 176F open temp, not 170.

You basically sawzall the passengers side brake duct off at the point when it begins to curve. You then install a 4" plastic plumbing 90 degree (elbow) pipe from Home Depot/Lowe's with screws onto the "stub" of the brake duct--aiming the elbow's open end up toward the filter if running a CAI. If running the stock box, connect the open elbow end to some dryer ducting to the bottom of the airbox. there's a "silencer" opening on the bottom of the stock box that you can open up to match the dryer ducting.

I have tinted fronts. And I love my weathertech floor liners. Tinting did make a big difference visually for cheap...it is a must.

From what I was told..relocating the IAT (intake air censor) farther away from the trottle body with keep engine heat away from the censor which provides the engine computer with a more accurate intake air temp. It results in better MPG and 0-60.

I'm not an expert, correct me if I'm wrong guys.
