Guys I'm in the process of putting on Arrington Stage 4 heads and their 586 cam. Do you think that I will be leaving 30 or more hp and tq on the table by not going with long tubes?

I don't think longtubes will get you that much but you'll always wonder if they would have if you don't get them

From my obsession on the forums....unless you throw a 426 in the car the long tubes are NOT a good bang for the buck.

The question to you is, what else do you plan on doing in the future? Since you are adding heads and cam, you might as well ad the LT's. It will be easier to install while the heads are out.

You probably won't see a 30 hp gain, but you wil be able to rest at night knowing that all that air intake will be able to leave the motor just as smooth as it came in.

    JMHO.
