I cannot believe that i had never herd of this technique before. So what do you do when you don't end up burning the tire? And i assume by knowing what kind of traction you have, you adjust your rpm stall?
Thats the basic idea.....most cars at the track aren't 2.25 Tons....a small burnout and they will hook just fine.Ours need a good heating of the tires and a check to know if you can hammer the throttle or not. Some people will do a dry hop and some won't.I like to do a dry hop as I can be sure of a good launch.
I love the sound of a sticky track! Gotta get out and try this new found technique. What psi did most of you use?
I have always backed up to the water box and stop just on the edge before the water and do my burn out. Should i be going all the way back into the water and spin the tires then pull forward and do the burn out?
Brute - it depends, spinning IN teh water will throw it up into your wheel wells, thats bad. But if youroll back into then out of the water then spin you shoudl be ok, just have to watch teh tires Also I updated Will, HemiC, Eriks and Juans vids to 16:9 ratio and better quality -R
