Don't you hate it when someone promises you something then can't deliver? Then when you try to get back what you rightfully have coming, they all of a sudden go from your best friend to not answering your calls or emails. Something like this happened to me with SMS Supercars and the sales team there. I put a $1,000 dollar deposit for the SMS blower WAY back in October and they happily cashed my check. Two months later (a month and a half after they said it would be ready) in December we decided that we did not want it and have been sending emails and making calls leaving messages and asking anyone why I could not get my money back. My last call in the the sales office resulted in me being put on hold for fifteen minutes and then being disconnected. when I tried to call back, all of a sudden there was nobody home. It is a real simple thing and I cannot imagine that they can't come up with a lousy grand. But its MY lousy grand so what is the problem? Its not like I just quietly sit around watching the mailbox. I have documented email sent 12/31, 1/4, 1/12, 1/22, 2/3, 3/9, 3/25. I also called and left voicemails. I was even in California one weekend and they would not see me. The Aftermarket is full of dealers that promise the moon and Saleen was one of the few that USED to deliver. Unfortunately it seems that they are unable to give back the money trusted to them by a customer (me) and even though the paperwork says the money will be refunded if necessary, don't count on it. I am sure that there are other manufacturers of parts for your car that wont try to live on their name and hope you wont mind when they rip you off. As for me, I can only warn you that there is many a promise on the pre-sale side, but be careful after the money changes hands... The Saleen promises fade as quick as bad brakes. By the way... The Blower is STILL not ready... Did they take your money too?
So did you post this on every site you could think of... SMS is a good company, Sean is a good guy...they already posted on the LXF you will be recontacted...
True Story I'll take the newb title as far as this forum goes and yes I was contacted after it was posted then removed from the Saleen forum. If I get resolution, I will be happy to post status if / when they resolve my issue. Understand that I have been trying to get some help on this for FOUR months and getting ignored. If this works then I will be glad to say so. :future:

You guys are awesome. Thanks. And also notice I have already added you as Moderator of the SMS forum... Welcome.
Status Update Just as a status update the SMS customer service rep Spring Hebler has been great. I don't have refund confirmation yet, but at least she is responsive and I feel like there will be resolution. I wish she had been involved all along. I doubt that it would have ever got to the point of public announcement... Thanks Spring! :thanks:
