All the parts that I had JMB powdercoat last month have been re-installed! - Energy Suspension urethane bushings were installed on the rear leaf springs. - Cal-Tracs were powder coated in a red/black combination, installed and setup. - New, larger diameter stainless steel U-bolts installed. - Diff. cover was powder coated black. Plug holes were re-tapped so that the plugs sit flush with the cover when torqued. - 1/8" NPT hole was drilled into diff. cover (Plug now. Temp sensor later.) - "5th Shock" (hop damper) mounting bracket was powder coated red. - Sway bar was powder coated red. New bushings were attempted, but none could be found that fit the SRT-10 sway bar/bushing bracket. - All hardware removed was cleaned, polished, and/or had protection applied. I'm very happy with the results, save for the clown-car color combination the Bilstein shocks give the hop damper area: *sigh* If you didn't pick up on it, the theme is to have an accenting 'red line' do a type of circle around the truck: Intake to Throttle Body; TB to Valve covers; Valve Covers to.....CalTracs (kind of a big leap, but...); CalTracs to Sway Bar....then back around the other side. Yes- expect DIY articles on all this stuff. Yes- more mods are planned for the summer. (First person to comment on the dirtiness of the underside of the truck has to buy me and my daily driver a Backyard Buddy.)
Yeah Roy, but yours is WAY subtle. Tom- that's because I'm always at the hockey game when you call! LOL You ready for car show season and some cruises with the VCA folks? Thanks Maureen! (See? Hot chicks dig it too!)
