483rwhp/449rwtq More info to come including video and dyno sheets. http://purehorsepowerperformance.com/stageiiipowerpack.aspx
so your new heads/cam package is generating 100hp over stock??? congrats Andy. PM me pricing when you can.
Stage II Heads Stage III Pro-Series Camshaft Stage II Ported Intake Billet Technology 85mm TB Not sure which CAI Stock Headers Stock Cats Not sure which aftermarket exhaust. I know the dyno is accurate also, because we maxxed out the 6.1 injector. This isnt the final dyno number, Im waiting on the owner to get home to send me the file. The dip at the end was cleared up with more timing which is where we picked up 5 more hp.
That is an incredible curve... Does that cam have a "lopey" idle? How would it drive on the street? ..
Is that SAE smoothing 5 Andy? lol What I'm the most impressed with is the torque curve Incredible numbers Andy. Especially with stock headers and cats.
It is SAE, but I dont think there is a smoothing option on this dyno. Definitely not a spike. Thanks guys. I will have some idle videos coming. It is lopey, but not like a race car.
220/228 561/563 113 224/228 598/578 113 Same exhaust duration, more intake duration, more lift, and much more aggressive lobes. All the Pro series camshafts are inverted flank roller camshafts yours is asymmetrical and not as radical as the Pro series.
Yep....the TB threw it over the top. I'm just getting back in the office today so I am in the weeds. I'll try to get some vids up this weekend. I originally had ordered the Track Warrior Cam but Andy told me about the Stage III cam and I am so glad I listened. Obviously since it's a DD I didn't want too much lope but I have to say I'm ecstatic the way it sounds and feels. I'm too damn busy to give you the full details on this build,(I will later) but if you're on the fence for heads/cam ,this car pulls like a freight train and is so much faster now it's rediculous. When my schedule permits I will track this car and see what's happening.
hahaha, cheater, that's no stock bottom end with those cam specs. It's all good Andy, bring it on buddy!!. :deshade: And congrats on the killer build Jim .:thumb2:
This is a bone stock bottom end. I dont know why everyone is doubting these cam specs. I have had 224/228 camshafts in about 30 different 6.1's. Hell the comp 273 is a 224/228 camshaft and it fits, not sure why you think a 224/228 will not fit. We had a hard time making power up top as we were running out of fuel the stock injectors.
Stock bottom end. However, to clarify Andy's post from earlier, i have an Airhammer CAI, and Corsa Exhaust w/ stock headers.
