    Any suggestions?
It's a 1999 Ford Expedition (Eddie Bauer edition -- loaded)
Blown motor. Pretty positive it threw a rod. Nothing came through the block but it knocked for a few thousand miles and finally just froze up, haha.
Car has about 80K or 90K on it. Good/new tires, brakes, interior is in good shape.

I'm thinking it might be worth ~$2K?? more or less? How would you go about selling something like that.

Drat... I was hoping for some handy dandy place to tow it to. Don't relish the idea of showing it to people at the house. Come to think of it, there used to be some place on El Camino where they charged you a fee or commission to sell used cars. You park it there, they keep the keys and info and show it to people who want to look at it. If somebody is interested they give them your phone number and you meet them there. At least I don't have to worry about people test driving it

Do that, or find out what a reman engine costs and replace it. It should raise the value of the truck at least $2K

Regular shop quoted about $5K for another engine. I don't have the time or the place to part it out.
