If you have been to the Sacramento Raceway, what is a better time to go, Saturday Test and Tune, or Wednesday Night Drags? I was thinking Saturday would be appropriate because I just want to be able to get some practice runs in to work on launching, etc. Any opinions would be appreciated! Also, anyone interested in trying to meet there as a group on an upcoming Wednesday or Saturday?
go saturday you will get alot more runs and less traffic. also if you need help you can get some one on one.......... good luck but i cant go im going to LA again
Saturday is best. Less crowds. More relaxed atmosphere. Many more runs (when you want as well). I think Trojan will be there trying to get 10.xx in his 426 supercharged Challenger. That makes it worth going all by itself.
Yeah, Wednesday nights its competitive (you win, you run again, you lose, you're done), and you don't get as many runs. Saturdays are more expensive but yeah, you get to run over and over and over. Also, there's the other crazy cars to compare with.

i wished we had a track that ran on every sat or sun like back in the 50-60-70s. IRWINDALE run thur nite and its 1/8 mile and baskersfeild runs every now n then on sat like fontana does and they usually have 400 cars and thats no fun. As BAKERSFEILD & FONTANA ARE 1/4 MILE.
