Injector swap ... new one on top!

Whoever worked on this motor last used silicone to hold the gasket to the intake ... yikes!! New gaskets are going in, of course!!

You might want to fix that kink in the Radiator hose. lol

hmmm Bet he was running a GSM Phenolic Spacer kit, which would explain the silicone?

The hose is just propped up so it's out of the way until it gets in the car. It sticks out normally. :)

I don't know if he ever ran a spacer, but he had this intake ported before we met him and it's clear the gasket was siliconed to the intake during the last install. It's not residual from prior use or anything.

Was the phenolic spacer to reduce heat transfer?

working off an engine lifts gotta be tough .. why not bolt it to an engine stand .. they like 100 bucks at jegs? I'd be worried about sitting any motor on the floor or on jackstands!!

either way looks like its going together nice, you should talk to Stack Performance about engine detailing too!!

    good luck with the rest!

Thanks ... we know how to detail and clean, but this customer didn't want to have all his parts powder coated like the one in the link you posted. ;)

DRP came by to see us ... and his ride.

Thanks to DRP for bringing a cool present for us, too! We'll have to paint it orange and blue ... these look kind of like FSU colors?

We had it on a stand for the build, but to put it in the car you need a lift lol!

^^ LMAO!! Yeah, he must have missed all those pics somehow. ;) You have to hang the motor for a bit to (1) get the rear seal on and (2) lower it into place for the re-install.

    All under control here. :D
