Here is my mini bus which handles very poorly, after i installed it i was not afraid to take a turn how you should in a fast car:

Under the plate is the weld seam where the front clip (what the fender bolts to) joins the cabin. Basicly the firewall. When you take a turn the car twists allot at this point. Its as if your car became a towel and you where ringing it out.

I can honestly say that this stiffens your vehicle a whole lot more than a strut tower does. Those who have driven a neon know how poorly it makes a u-turn. With this piece on Jesus was able to snap a quick uturn to where his tires started to squeak. The neon has a huge turning radius and this just tightened it up.

As some of you were aware of, I was making a trip to Exhaust Depot (yesterday) so Hector could design the first set of fender braces for the Neon SRT-4. Instead of going through a whole days story, I will go straight to the results...

Most, if not, all owners of the Neon SRT-4 know the turn radius and how difficult this car makes it to make U-turns. Also if you throw the steering wheel back and fourth realize how soft the front end is and feel body roll. This piece stiffens up the front end and you feel more control. When install was complete and car ready to go I went out for a test drive. I went down a 4 lane road (2 lanes going one way and 2 lanes going the opposite direction). Using NO e-brake and being on the left closes lane to other 2 opposite direction lanes I whipped the car around (U-turn) at around 35mph. At that point the front half of the car was on one lane (left) while part of the rear was on the right lane and snapped the car completely to the left lane. The car didn't slide from underneath me or anything. Some tire squeeling from the force of them holding on to the road and force thrown unto to the one side. It truly feels like you have full control of the front end. With all the other suspension parts I have (strut braces, sway bars, endlinks, springs) I felt a difference and these braces complimented well with the rest of my suspension mods.

    Here's the picture Hector took:

Well if you have an endorsement from Jesus then it has to be good.

Yes that was a reference to the one who's name is pronounced with a "J"

I emailed the pics I took with my cell phone to my email, not the greatest pics, although that is how most if not all cell phone pics turn out.

Its a great product for sure! Can't wait to test them on "S" turns and sharp turns. Forgot to mention I did get to test them on the on-ramp getting on I-4 where the turn was a sharp "C" turn, I kept the foot on the gas, giving gas through the turn. Overall great control on the front end.

yeah when i drove hec's minibus, man that thing handle like it had coils, bigger sway bars and struts, and he had none of that, his suspension is all stock, and man i was hauling ass down orange and did a quick lane change and it had no body roll or nothing i had complete control of the minibus, great piece, and i can't emagine how this would handle with all the other suspension upgrades, it would be like its on rails. good piece hec.

The cops are literally a stone throw away from me. And this town of edgewood is less than a square mile so they do anything to hit you up with a ticket!

Im shooting for a $185 intro price on it. I just have to get them on point and then send them to powdercoat. What color, pink? :) I need to come up with a kewl color to coat them in.

Man I wish mine were powdercoated! I plan on taking the fenders back off, uninstalling them and just spray painting them one of these weekends. I'll probably be going with a red color. I'll post pics when I do paint them.

I think you should coat them either a gunmetal color or if you want some off the wall color besides pink you can do a green like your screen name on here.
