Does anyone suffer from "Cluster Headaches" this is what Doctors call them, it's these intense headaches that last for days sometimes like migranes but worse I think because they come in bunches! If anyone gets them what do you take for them or how do you get rid of them? The older I get the worse they get, I've been getting them now for over a week and nothing seems to relieve them.
I have had a headache for the past 3 days now.... don't know if it is what you would call a cluster headache, but usually what works for me is about 3 excedrine, darkend room and little to no noise! Other than that, ice packs across your eyes....
Clusters are really I mean really intense migranes that come in groups like at the same time dark rooms help Smells " like migranes " set them off for me also stress but smells this baby powder smelling perfume or alot of perfume is a sure bet for me, I took three earlier then one of the women I bring food to tonight had that FooFoo on and fired the headache back up. Thanks back to the Excedrin bottle for me.
Stich, if I were you I'd go see a neurologist as they are the medical specialists in regard to clusters. They have abortive meds that can relieve the pain inside of about ten minutes. They tend to be very strongs meds though....
Hey stitch. Sorry to hear about the noggin, mate. The Mayo Clinic has a couple of likely culprits tagged as being among the triggers for cluster headaches. Check it out.
My wife has had a constant headache for as long as I've known her. She has had CT scans and an MRI. She has been on every med under the sun, and nothing helps......But, once in a while, a couple of excedrin seem to break in there and calm it down a lot.
ne thing that definately doesn't help is going to a mall just a few days before X Mas, man does my head hurt now!
I'm in hell now... have had a residual headache for days that borders between mild sinus and kill me now migraine and since I'm preggers I can't take any decent painkillers. Migraines are usually a case of too much blood in the wrong places (head/skull) and not enough elsewhere (extremities). So I'm trying the ol' wrap up the feet and hands and putting an icepack on my noggin, along with the quiet darkened room, though the damn helicopters and random hailstorms aren't helping. :novote:
i get them from time to time along with the migrains they knock the hell out of me,, :future: SIR DEWMAN
