    hello,
I'm doing the upgrade to level 5 shafts and have some issues. I have read the write up. I do not understand how anyone could swap these out at the track. I have a lift and having issues with getting them out. got the dr side out but boy what a pain.
    1. Do you remove and replace one side at a time?
    2. What does the toner ring look like? Is it the ring that has 4 points, if so mine is just sitting there not attached. Anyone have a photo?

Doing this on jack stands would be insane.

would it be easier to just remove all the bolts that hole the hub on?

Doing this by ones self is crazy.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
    Adam

    Adam,

Give Erik (Hemi31) or Cam a PM. These guys are the guru's of 1/2 shaft replacement.

Here you two, let me help you ADD problem out... Please see the OP's comment below. I have deleted all but the phrase where the OP states he has read ALL of the write ups.

But thanks for informing the rest of us about the How-To. hehe

I don't think Erik even uses a jack unless he's going to be doing more than one car at a time...

It's all good, thanks to the write up and a couple of e-mails to Erik I got the answers I needed. I just hope the tone ring work and I dont have to take this apart again.
I know for sure if I do this again it will go much smoother.

No codes and car drives as smooth as before.
Installation was a breeze but to remove on jacks is crazy.
Now let it dry out and to the track I go.

    Thanks
