mercedes diff cooler

    does anyone here know the part number for the mercedes diff cooler that bolts up to the 215 rear end? i tried searching, but came up with nada.

    also, a picture would be cool too.

    thanks for the link, but i dont think thats what im looking for. the cooler ive heard about is a factory mercedes amg part that bolts directly to the diff. i coulda sworn someone on here had one....

    Are you talking about a (complete) diff cooler will fittings & hose lines

    or

    A (Aluminum) Diff Cover with Cooling Fins that bolts on. (Example: Nissan Titan Pickup)

    He's talking about a set of aluminum fins that bolts to our current diff. Yes, it does exist, its an AMG part, no I don't know the part number. I was on a small search for it a year ago and never pursued it too far. I would start by looking at what AMG's use the 215mm diff. There was a generation of C class AMG that did. I think it was the 98-00 ones.

    Since they are in my back yard, I'll go over there and check them out & see what they can come up with.

    I went by PML the diff cover place & he said that first he would have to look at a cover & under the car for clearence issues, but, it was do able

    So, I am working on getting a cover (does anyone have an extra one) & picutures of my diff for him to get the ball rolling
