You can see 3 wheels come off. It's likely that there were NO lug nuts on that car. How could that possibly happen? I mean even if somebody put on the race wheels, finger tightened them and went for the lug wrench they would have stayed on longer than that.
Now.... not only can that person NEVER race again.... They should be forced to ride a bike for the rest of time lol
Saw that before and I still say it was staged, or that guy is the stupidest person on the planet. Prolly both, lol.
If it was not staged the driver should be found and hit in the head with a tack hammer, twice. And was the plumbers crack pic really necessary?:getlost:
For reference... first pit crew pic, that's Trojan (Chris) on the right, Cam on the left second pic, that's Ron (1BAD4DR) with his infamous red can *snicker* third pic is of Chris (Legmaker) and his son helping out with Ron's car fourth pic, Chris helping out, Ron and Cam doing/saying something in the background. And the last pic with Ron and Maureen, I'm the tall Cousin It looking thing standing there.
I wonder....if the guy autocrosses alot, and is constantly changing out wheels, maybe the studs get stressed and stretched to where they could be overtightenened over time and frequency, and then from the stresses of the first couple of moves left and right, they just snapped under the strain, and from their being weakened over time.....I don't autocross, but have sold flange bolting in years past, and know that bolts do stretch under load..... Just a thought, or the person responsible for wheel nuts that day was getting a h*mmer behind the safety wall....
What's really funny is that he pulled the e-brake before getting out... you know, so the car wouldn't roll away.... what a nub.
