Hey guys, name is Bryan, and i'm new here :baby: I have a question for the performance guru types of the site. I have a Corsa cat-back, mopar cai, and a predator CMR tune, no internal items as of yet. If I were to add the Magnaflow high flow cats at this point, would i need a whole new CMR tune afterward? or can i do the adjustments (if any) in my garage?

Thanks a bunch in advance, and I look forward to my development as a member here :magic:

    Hey Bryan,

I never recommend that an inexperienced tuner make adjustments on their own. Catastrophe can happen.

You can add the highflows. I would get with your CMR tuner and have him email an adjustment tune. Shouldn't cost much?

    Welcome aboard brotha...

Hey, thanks for the kind welcome, and rapid answer badone :flowers:, much appreciated.

So am I correct in reading your post that I SHOULD have it re-tuned after adding the cats? sorry for my layman ignorance

    Welcome to the C SickBrick!.

The only way to be certain your not doing any damage is to install a AF gage. Most likely, you'll want to add maybe 2% of fuel across the board. You can data log and watch your knock retard too. If it's knocking up top, add fuel (within reason) until it stops. But the best thing you could do is hit a dyno and dial it in.

    BTW, badass name dude...........hahaha.

the "Call" sign is great, but I laugh every time I see your avatar. haha

Reminds me of Cam. Do you know Cam personally? I guess you do since you have Cam's portrait as an avatar. bwahahahahahaha

Badone, one more query if you may? is this mod WORTH doing? the high flows? they claim 9-10hp from this? I think i'm down to the end of bolt-on performance options? do you know? would you suggest anything else? thanks again for all the help :ilovesrtc:

I would save the money on the Magna's and put it toward a pair of Kooks headers and their High Flow cats. But, thats just my opinion.

Some guys have seen 7-10 hp gains after installing the high flow cats, and yea, I would add them now.

As for Headers, not much gain in power with headers and minimal mods. For 1400 bucks and only a couple hp is not worth it, IMO.

Now, headers will be significant when P&P heads and Intake, cam, and/or forced induction are added.

I understand the avatar's breath smells just like Ron's.
