    how much weight does the roll bar add to the car? and do you typically try to take extra weight out of the car to compensate for what your adding??

    Of course we will have a high-boost pulley kit, and a dual in-tank pump set-up is the way we're going. I will be posting TONS of other info here as we are getting going with this project now that the cage is done.

    Yes, it does angle in a bit to clear the armrest that is built into the door. It doesn't protrude into the seating area though.

    I haven't had the car on the scale and the cage builder didn't have a way to weigh it there, but I'll find out at some point. It doesn't really matter though, as it's a safety requirement and not something that we would leave out for the sake of weight. Some things will be removed, but this will remain a "stock" car in that it will not be tubbed or sheared apart into race car status, and be able to be daily driven and enter car shows, too.

    I picked up the car today, and the cage is complete!! It looks awesome, and RCB really did a fantastic job. The interior is all back in and fits very well, with a very comfortable interior still, not comprised by the cage. Here are some pics of it all completed ...

    Brad;

    I know it's difficult waiting just like for the Techco but when all is said and done you can be certain you went with the best by selecting PPP. You will end up with top notch quality and at a reasonable price too!

    This week we removed the 6-speed transmission and factory clutch from rubbel's Challenger, and the clutch is on the way to a TOP manufacturer in order to have a high performance kit made. We are excited to have a suitable clutch in the work's for this project, but also to be able to offer clutches to anyone needing one down the road, too. Here are some pics from the removal process:

    Since the cage is made of full Chromoly, it is actually very light yet strong. About 40lbs accrding to our builder.

    Anytime.
    When doing a cage people need to remember that Mild Steel Cages cost less but will weigh more, Chromoly is the way to go for strength and weight!

    The tranny should be clean. This car had less than 1000 miles when torn down for rebuilt. Never even smoked the tires LOL
