It was a false alarm the axle wasn't broke it was something else under there broke

 

The next weakest link then? How much will it cost to upgrade that item?

 

Drive shaft or tranny. So that would be fairly cheap and very much not cheap to upgrade...

 

Something broke with the tire or wheel sensor monitor or something and was making a clanging noise anf they thought it was a axle

No problems with this yet and hopefully there won't be any

Damn I cant just get the rear end I have to use 09 axles Crap.

 

Not yet I just sent the intake out to be ported so I have to wait till it comes back

Why not what rear do you have......there are 09 axles for the 215 and 226 rear

 

Nope. You'll need 09 axles, hubs, and driveshaft.

 

can you just swap in the 09 axles and hubs???? this sounds as if it might be a very attractive substitute from the rather costly dss axles...... very much looking forward to hearing some feedback. if i can do an axle/hub swap to 09 stuff for under a grand with install, and "safely" run d/r's, i will be all over it!!!

 

Chris, you CAN use the 09 R/T axles and hubs. The 5.7 now gets the 215mm rear that the 05-08 SRTs have, but they have the new axles too.
