anyone heard of anyone running this config? i need tires and decided just to buy wheels as well. im trying to see if i can run 22x9s with a 295 front and rear.
I've seen it done before, but I'm sure it had issues. That's just too wide for those rims and too wide for the front. On those rims, I got money says it will hit the upper ball joint stud.
damn ok, i kinda figured i would be pushing it. oh well. thanks guys. dude i got some 22" gray tq thrusts for $500....dont know if theyre are stolen or what but theyre brand new.
Don't do it. The 295's would work OK in the rear, but not the front. I'm using 295/40-20's on the rear on my car, works fine with the 9" witdth. Staggered looks better anyway.
yeah, i drove my uncles c4 lingenfelter that ran 335s front and rear. i didnt like the turn radius at all, though the grip was out of this world going into a corner.
It has already been done. Israel works at a wheel and tire show and is the guru on getting big tires to fit. I believe all he did was roll the front fenders to get them to fit. He is running 295/30/22 on all 4 wheels on a 300 and lowered with Eibach springs. http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=97800
Yea, but I bet you those 295's are NOT mounted on a 9 inch rim. 9.5 or a 10 inch, but not a 9 inch. If he did, the rubber would be rolling over the lips like a beer belly does to a belt...
yeah, thats a really good possibility. hes king of wheels down there, runs 30s i think now on his hummer.
don't do the 295 up front steve...... i am sure you will not like it.... also, is isreal the dude that was in the video of a white charger rolling on 26" rims that was driving like an idiot all over the road to show how the 26" rims worked???? lol
