I just picked this up yesterday. It's a 2000 FRC Corvette that's very heavily modified. From the outside you'd only think it had wheels, brakes, and exhaust. Everything was done stealthy. The engine is brand new with a T-Trim Vortech putting down 840RWHP on 20psi and 750RWHP on 14psi (current pulley and tune, and more than enough. :scared: ) Everything was professionally assembled and installed by the best in the Corvette world. This car is very well know in the Corvette forum community. It runs on 91 octane and meth and the entire drivetrain, suspension, and brakes have been upgraded to attempt to handle the power. The engine is fully forged and with the blower and fuel system is capable of over 1000HP as it sits. Essentially, it was over built. Just the way things should be but it already makes TOO MUCH power. It should be a fun Spring. (Pay no attention to the tires, the were only temporary all-seasons so I could drive it 800 miles home without worrying about weather. I have 305 Drag Radials in my garage. and Nitto NT01's are going on soon.)
Check your ass out.....damn brudder, when you do it, you do it big!!!!! :worthy::worthy::worthy: Major congrats Matt! :friends: BTW, this doesn't mean your going completely gay on us now does it??. :supergay:
Very nice Matt. I was building my 99 Z28 similar to that. 403 stroker with D1SP ProCharger race kit. AFR 225's, Hughes transbraked TH400, 4000 stall, FAST 90/90, Kooks 1 7/8, Strange Dana, etc, etc.
Didn't you just sell your blown vette? Congratulations on your new ride! I'm sure its a blast to drive.
Hahaha....No, straight as an arrow....Unless you come up with the cash you promised me! That's right Rodney!* I remember all about that...Yes, it's very similar...That's what I love about the LSx world.* There's a definite "tried and true" method for making reliable and big horsepower.....Even though I've been a huge Mopar guy, it's why I keep gravitating back to the GM world....Now, if GM could only make better looking vehicles than the F-bodies and Corvettes! So was it as good for you as it was for me? *smoke* hahaha....I'll talk to you tomorrow! It's still supposed to be decent. Hey Adam! Yes, I sold my blown C4 2 months ago to make room for the next generation.
You lucky ass! That is friggn SWEEEET!!!!! I had an 03 the same color, but with out the mods you have and it was Quick the way it was
Looks great Matt, enjoy your new toy. Can't go wrong with a Vette. I like my Mopars but waiting to drive the new Camaro, I always drift back to my first love, GM.
Yup...i`m an old Gm and ford guy. This was my second mopar and i have no regrets....love my car, but, i`m about ready to pull the trigger on a camaro aswell. Thank you very much on the kind words on my Super Bee. I love that car. When was the last time I met you? Was it at the Shindig show in GA., SF in Cali. or SEMA show? I have been blessed to meet so many of the awesome Modern Mopar enthusiasts I lose track of there names.
Since he used to live in Austin, I would imagine he has met you at one of the many TexASS shows... lol And Black, thanks for making Mark's noggin even bigger than it already is. lol
Thanks brother Ron. I did not know he used to live in Austin. Yes I am sure I met him at one of the TexASS LX events.... Too funny Ron (noggin statement).
haha had to be creative by using noggin, cause the word "Head" is an open door invitation with this group. lol
