Anybody listening, I need help. I have had a couple of issues with my charger srt-8 superbee. First problem, from a complete stop to full throttle around 60 miles an hour I get a lull in the excelleration, a sputter of some sort then it clears out. Second. sometimes from a complete stop or when in motion, if i hammer the throttle it will sag, the engine will have a lull an then it will pick up. Third, at times in low speeds where I am breaking then try to step on the throttle, i get no response and have to put in neutral then back in drive. I told you I need help. :help:
I'm no Charger expert but it sounds like transmission issues as well as possibly fuel/spark issues. I'd wait to see what Charger owners with experience have to say though .
Um, could be PCM issue and/or you may have a transmission leak. Both are things you can ask your Dodge/Chrysler service tech about because they're aware of these issues and can fix them under warranty. I had the funky tranny issue during acceleration and it turned out I had a slow seep/leak from the tranny because of a faulty o-ring.
Comms between the TCM and PCM. There is a TBS out for the TCM flash that will cure those issues. The first issue you stated is the not so sweet spot. Too high of a speed/RPM to down shift.
Hmmm....I've noticed the lagging when I hammer the gas getting on the highway in second gear....Maybe I'll have the dealer check it out. I have to have them look at a faulty washer fluid sensor anyway.
