Since Trojan thought I was such an BIG target for N/A goal setting and then acomplished it well needless to say it become one of those "its ON!"

Well it was an eventful weekend as I was at least able acomplish breaking that 11.50 brick wall I have been facing for quite sometime.

The excitement in all of this was to do at the track in two DIFFERENT CARS on the same day. One was in AL G's 426 Charger which has the 3.55 gears and we were testing out the M&H 325/35/17 28 inch Drag radials. I then took those drag radials and placed them on the my car. I am really kind of curious as to why there seems such a low number of folks that have actually ran these tires.

    R/T - .488
    60 - 1.619
    330 - 4.735
    1/8 - 7.304
    MPH - 94.94
    1000 - 9.544
    1/4 - 11.419
    MPH - 120.06

Earlier in the day I drove another Charger 426 (Al G's) with 3.55 gears for a couple of test run.

    R/T - 674
    60 - 1.56
    330 - 4.625
    1/8 - 7.293
    MPH - 93.60
    1000 - 9.570
    1/4 - 11.486
    MPH - 116.68

    WOW. Congrats...

Now you must remember, Trojan's whip is running with 8.5:1 compression versus your 10.5:1(?). lol

8.5 is designed for a Supercharger with high boost. 10.3 is for NA or N2O.

Trojan might have hit a high 10 second et if he was running a 10.3 CR motor NA.

The 6.1's are 10.3 CR from the factory.

My motor is a 10.3 CR even though it is built for a supercharger. I won't have to run as much boost to make the same HP.

When you lower the compression, you lose horse power, but will gain even more hp's when higher boost from a blower or turbo is added.

That too but also I am running with full interior and did not remove belts and drove to the staging lanes... and back under my own power.:bigwink:

So if I would have done the same thing... remove all the interior and belt...I should be looking at PPP's record. :p :bye:

Its all in the love of Trojan ! :bigwink:

Your car is smokin fast. Full trim and all. Mine should be similar if I ever get it to the track. I've got a 150 N2O on top of that. Should run solid 10's.

Even with a low CR motor, Trojan's times are excellent, and not even in negative DA.

    Ok OK James,

Lets lay off the seats and the push! lol, First off Ive added a 200lb Rollbar to my car and 100lbs of dynamatt, I firmly believe Im at no weight advantage other then my personal weight! But more importantly lets look at the facts.

    I ran a 11.40 @ 120 in +1200 DA
    you ran a 11.41 @ 120 in -800 DA
    Heres how that breaksdown James,

My results: E.T.11.40 (sec) Trap Speed120.00 (mph) Measured DA1200 (feet) Corrected to -800(feet) DA Corrected ET11.162 (sec) Corrected Trap Speed 122.602 (mph)

Your time in +1200 would have been this:
Your results: E.T.11.41 (sec) Trap Speed120.00 (mph) Measured DA-800 (feet) Corrected to 1200(feet) DA Corrected ET11.653 (sec) Corrected Trap Speed 117.453 (mph)

And both at Sea Level would have been this:

    Me at Sea Level:

Your results: E.T.11.40 (sec) Trap Speed120.00 (mph) Measured DA1200 (feet) Corrected to 0(feet) DA Corrected ET11.256 (sec) Corrected Trap Speed 121.548 (mp

    You at Sea Level
Your results: E.T.11.41 (sec) Trap Speed120.00 (mph) Measured DA-800 (feet) Corrected to 0(feet) DA Corrected ET11.506 (sec) Corrected Trap Speed 118.968 (mph)

-800 is a crappy day. A good day on the East Coast will see a -2500' DA.

All in good fun James, Just having HHP in 2nd, 3rd all time N/A is a great acomplishment, And Jeremys time can be beat, Right day, right conditions, and its there for the taking, I believe that motor retired, Not sure though. Keep on keeping on Bro! I was out running N/A for shitz and giggle's, The Blower is going on now so its time to see whats really going on! I expect to see you striving to beat Jeremy, You'll get me soon enough, Its the guy above me that you need to concentrate on beating.
