First off, I have been a long time member, and have followed Jeremy and PPP since the start. I have always heard how great their customer service is. So, when they advertised their head/cam special in Dec, I could afford to pull the trigger. I ordered Dec 4th; Tim said a 1 1/2 - 2 weeks. Two weeks had passed, no parts. So I call and E-mail, with no response. I finally get a hold of them, they say their head guy had a baby, and there was a delay. Fine; I can understand this. I wait another week, and nothing. Andy sends a general E-mail to a group of customers, stating the left side heads were done, and they were finishing the rights, and would ship the following week. Well, once again nothing, and no contact from Andy. Jan 6th, I get a hold of Andy. He states they are having problems with their head supplier and my heads were two weeks out from this point. Ok, enough is a enough! Then two days later, Jan 8th, I finally get a hold of Andy, telling him I want to cancel my order. He says he understands, and would credit my card right away. Another week goes by, no credit. I send numerous E-mails and make several calls with no response. The second week, he sends an e-mail saying he will look into this matter right away. Now, it is 3 weeks later, still no credit! I speak with him yesterday (Tuesday Jan 27th), and he says that they had credited my account. Great, I am done with this fiasco. However, no, I checked my credit card account online and by telephone this morning, and again no credit! I immediately called and spoke to Andy again this morning (Wed Jan 28th), and he states it was done, and says he will call me right back after speaking with Jeremy. As of yet, once again - no return call! When will this end? Through all of this mess, I had to persue Andy; never once did Andy contact me to reply to phone calls or E-mails.

Does anyone have Jeremys Phone #?

Thanks for letting me vent about my horrible experience with PPP, which is still not over!
    Curtis

jesus, dude is this the first time you have tried to get a credit on you cc? typically credits dont even appear on your card until the next billing cycle.

i can understand you feeling antsy, but damn, its only been a month.

I don`t know what kinda CC`s u use, but a credit should take a maximum of 72 hours, unless it`s a Debit card. I manage hotels and have to do this on a daily basis, so i do know what i`m talking about. Most Credits or chargebacks can be done within 24 hours or the next business day. Now a debit can take up to 7-10 days. Just go with HHP....they have better products and josh is the man. You might also want to look into using STU`s products at inertia

First off sorry to hear of your ordeal and you did not get your stuff in a timely manner as there are always 2 sides to the story but honestly guys this is not the first post by someone with almost identical complaints about PPP. We have no idea what Andy and PPP are going thru so lets not speculate. I can tell you that it could take up to 5-7 working days for your CC company to process the refund and credit your card back same thing happened with BWoody.

Curtis lets give PPP/Andy a chance to respond. This is directed to all not just Curtis DO NOT start a Vendor bashing thread I dont blame Curtis for posting as it is his experience and he did it respectfully.

i use my amex, mastercards and debit cards. amex and mastercard both see credits up to a month down the road. unless you go straight to the cc company and refute charges...then they will apply the credit and go after the company that did the charging.

i worked for both bestbuy and compusa to find this out. we had more than enough angry customers that didnt have their cc refunded in a weeks time.

It all depends on what policies the credit card "Processing" company has in place for returns. My company uses Authorize.net as our customers c/c processing company. Authorize.net then spider webs their service to other processing company's. This is why it takes longer to see a credit back to your card... All of you guys are correct in the time frame, but again, depends on the processing company and how many other processing company's they bounce the credit through.

Now, if it were a major bank to a major bank (or even same bank), yes, you would see the credit within 24 - 72 hours.

I seriously doubt that PPP uses a major bank as their processing company as PPP is too small and the bank fee's would cost too much. Enters the middle man processing company.

Are you sure Tim was let go? As for doing his job, I always got great service and feed back. I think PPP's business is slow, as you would expect in this economy. I understood took the opportunity at Modular Depot because PPP was slow.

As for Andy, I am sure he will make things right he is a straight up guy

Trust me tims long gone. Andy is running PPP almost by him self these days give him time.

As for black08's commment about hhp, They do make great products but cost a arm and a leg. And second PPP's heads are almost the same and they can make you the same cam with the same specs as HHP's cam. why waste the extra money?

Why spend the extra money......Customer service for starters. Have you not ever heard of getting what cha pay for? For the record IMO....Stu has the best bang for the buck hands down and better products. I have been in his shop several times and i know what`s going into these motors....top of the line!
