I bought new rims from trojan in staggered 20x9 & 20x10.5.I was thinking 295x40 on back and 255x45 on front. Will the 295s fill the rim well without tapering too much to show too much lip? Will they clear ok in back?Any help on thoughts.thanks

The 295's should fit perfectly on the 10.5" rim with no tapering. You should have no issues with clearance?

what kind of car do you drive? 295s on the rear would stick out in anything but a charger with rolled lips.

So, a 295 tire will fit on the stock 300C SRT8 wheels without rubbing or any interference?

Also, are all four rims the same size? I know the stock tire size is staggered, but are the rims all the same with the same offset/backspacing?

    Thanks.

Great. So, will a 295 fit without rubbing or is HalV48 just lucky that his fits?

    :thanks:

I don't think Hal has ever had a rubbing issue with his 295's. And that is before and after his KWV2's and being dropped? But it would be best if Hal answered that. lol Which is why I did not in the previous post.

Nary a scrub or a scratch, ever. Everyone said I needed 10" wheels and that the tires would not wear right. 10,000 miles and no uneven wear. Look at my 2nd picture. See the dirt on the tread.

i was talking about rolling on a 300 because it looks funny with part of the tire sticking out from the fender. hal, yours might not do that, i cant see from the pics, but the ones ive seen in person do.

    rolling your fenders involves this:

on our cars there is a sharp edge and that digs into the tire when the ride height changes suddenly. people running 20s with a wide tire or 22s should get their fenders rolled because of this.

My wheels have a 63mm offset.I took off the back wheel and put the wheel on to check spacing and it is close to the inner plastic liner.Should clear fender lip with no problem with the 295 but i am worried about inside.I ordered the 295 & 255 set-up so i guess i will see soon enough. If it rubs i will use the 3mm hub centric spacers i ordered off of ebay for $35 just in case i needed them or cut the plastic out that rubs
