Throttle body spacers - do they do anything???

I've seen several ads for throttle body spacers and have been wondering if they actually do anything on a relatively stock SRT8. The ads seem to claim that it boosts low-end torque. Anyone know the truth??

I don't know of anyone running one. I had one on my Avalanche

 

A few guys had them on (1FST4DR and Markus). They ended up using them for target practice.

Only good for the people selling them..

 

Now wait...they do something.
Some of them do make a nice whistle noise...and they take up space.

 

Whistle while you work ... only no work in this case, haha, spend your money elsewhere.

 

Spend your money elsewhere and you'll be much happier. I hate seeing money spent on the wrong mods.
