I just finished cutting the carpet out and laying the lexan pieces into the cutouts. Now I just need to know how to mount it on the trunk? Don't worry about how the pieces look a little fuzzy. It's still got the protective sheets on them so I won't scratch them when I was working with them.

i have mine mounted using generic door panel fasteners. those plastic christmas tree looking push in things. get the 1/4" size and use the factory holes in the trunk reinforcement struts on the underside of the trunk lid.

So Ben, what in the world gave you this idea?

I never thought someone would copy me on this, but I guess I was wrong.

Yours still look better. I'm going to be adding lights behind mine to add a halo glow effect.

This Autobot emblem was a pain in the butt to cut and then to etch.

OK, I have been to the links and have the pattern. I need to know what you used for the backing? Is there another thread with step by step?

    Yours looks great, Ben.

I used an 1/8" thick piece of plywood board. I don't know if there is a step by step. I should have done a step by step. I just wanted to get it done so badly that I didn't take pictures til I had it installed.
