Awesome footage from the HBO show "Generation Kill" and a great song. If you have a weak stomach you probably shouldn't watch this! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOY-0Ag7GIc
Here is real nice one. If you have a weak stomach definately DO NOT WATCH THIS. Bodies hit the floor???? How about flying in the air. Here is one for the Canadian forum members.... Intorduction to video: This is a video of a Canadian Sniper wiping out Taliban Snipers in Afghanistan . These video shots are not made through the shooter's telescopic sight. They are made looking through the spotter's scope. The spotter lies right next to the sniper and helps the sniper to find and home in on the target. The sniper is using a 50 caliber rifle. A 50 cal. round is about 7-8 >> inches long and the casing is about an inch in diameter. The bullet itself is one-half inch in diameter and roughly one and one-half inches long. Pay close attention to the beginning of the video. A Taliban is lying on top of the peak in front of you... when you hear the shot fired.... watch what happens. The sniper is also about a half mile away... or more. A Canadian sniper in Afghanistan has been confirmed as hitting an enemy soldier at a range of 2,310 meters, the longest recorded and confirmed sniper shot in history. The previous record of 2,250 meters was set by US Marine sniper Carlos Hathcock in Vietnam in 1967. The Canadian sniper was at an altitude of 8,500 feet and the target, across a valley, was at 9,000 feet. Canadian sniper units often operated in support of US infantry units, which were grateful for their help. The record lasted only one day, until a second Canadian sniper hit an enemy soldier at 2,400 meters (8000 feet). The Canadian snipers fire special 50-caliber McMillan tactical rifles, which are bolt-action weapons with five-round magazines. The Canadian snipers were the only Canadian troops operating without helmets or flak jackets as they had too much other equipment to carry. Each three-man team has one sniper rifle, three standard rifles Canadian (C7s), one of them with a 203mm grenade launcher. As I said before...If you have a weak stomach definately DO NOT WATCH THIS. You have been warned. ....
that first one is definately not a human but thats some fine shootin for sure! was that the same guy that got the longest recorded shot? also, i think you meant to say they carry m203 grenade launchers which fire a 40mm grenade. thanks for sharing the info and great vid!!
I am pretty sure the first one is human. It is a side shot that is why it looks so odd coming off the rock. I believe the bullet bouncd up and/or exploded off the rock after it went in, which is why the body went up. The original video is a little cleaner. No i don't beieve it was the same guy that has the record just another Canadian sniper. The statement only says one of the Canadian C7 rifles that is carried has a m203 granade launcher. Isn't this the style that is mounted on the rifle?
I've seen that video a few times, and yes, it was also the Canadian that holds the longest shot record.
yessir! the 203 is a 40mm grenade launcher. only reason i dont think its human is because ive never seen a human body fly like that after being hit by a .50. ive seen some wierd shit happen after you hit somebody with a .50 but never seen them fly lol.
haha you should see how a deer down range from a .50 cal range flies... lol That was a Taliban sniper. I have seen a different video that show's extreme low motion. The torso and head fly in one direction while a leg and arm go else where... lol
thats a very old video (somewhere around 2002 from what i remember) of guys shooting in oregon. theyre shooting squirrels not humans, they arent in afghanistan or iraq, or any other warzone. these are guys like us shooting into a hill side. basically just screwing around.
haha, thanks. i just know how those bodies fly. when i was in my early teens i would get paid for each one i killed by my mom (her flowers would get killed) and a local country club. all had major issues with ground squirrels. the biggest prob with these damn things is that when you hit them, if you dont kill them, they crawl back in their hole and die. i cant get a body, therefore no money. i still made quite a bit at $5 a head. the guns are a 22-250 and the other a 6mm magnum btw.
Huh? It is strange about the similarity between the 2 videos of mine and Bud's. Did you look close at my video? I guess then they must have merged the clip showing the guy moving in the rocks with the actual shot? I have been hunting squirrels and rabbits quite often when I was younger. I never shot one that had a turban on.
lol nathan i would wonder where you have been for the last few years, especially because i thought you worked in IT. if the vid was any better i could get snap shots for you. your imagining the turbans.... if you have ever shot a bmg you would know that isnt the sound a 50 cal makes when shot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hioPReoo10A i guessed right off the bat it was a 223....i was kinda close.
Holy shit that got me pumped, nothing better then seeing scum like that full of holes and being ripped to shreds by American military.
I guess I will have to look at the video closer. Could have sworn I saw a turbaned guy crawling in the rocks in one of the clips.
