A fellow LXer (name intentionally withheld) was in a bad way last night when his car stopped. The member left Andy a voicemail while waiting for a tow truck, and about the time the tow truck was dropping off the car to my local dealership, Andy was returning the call. Please keep in mind that this was right around Midnight Andy's time... I then learned this morning that Andy called the member again to see if the dealership had been able to look at the car... TOP NOTCH in my book Andy.
Andy makes PPP what it is. he use to callme ok Saturday at 11 his time to call and make sure it was what I wanted and was happy. He's a great guy too work with on any thing from An inatke to a full motor blower. Combo now if he could just send me my PPP sticker already! Hahahahahaha
I believe in giving credit where credit is due, and Andy has gone far beyond credit. At least in my book.
I dont know, I have been trying to get a hold of him for three weeks now about delivery of my shortblock, heads, cam and accessories. It took me a week and a half for him to let me know via PM that he was on vacation....NO PROBLEM, I understand everyone needs time, just was frustrating that it took so long to find out. He said he would be back after the first of the year. I have left more messages but still havent heard anything back as of yet. If anybody talks to him, let him know I am trying to get a hold of him.....
I have the privelege of living about 90mins south of Andy....... Well when I got my 426 installed, I also opted for a "prototype" 90mmTB. As some of you guys may recall, I had all kinds of tuning issues with it. When I decided to go back to my stock unit, Andy DROVE DOWN TO MY HOUSE to personally tune my car on a Saturday afternoon. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. He is the reason when I get my supercharger, that I am going back to PPP without question. Only thing is he gets so damn busy, he could use a personal assistant!!!! Chase
got to remember he is a busy guy. He is incharge of one of the best lx companys and gets slammed with people just like you and me. I was calling him all last week for a part and didnt knwo he was on vac. either but everone needs it and he works his ass off shit give him a month off.
Just to give credit where credit is due, Andy did get a hold of me yesterday and is checking on the status of my order, etc. He also helped answer some questions..... Just to be clear, I wasn't taking a crap on Andy, just making a comment on trying to get a hold of him. I figured since I was making the comment in a post on this thread, rather than starting a "Andy is a ghost" thread and turning it into a huge issue, that I could make a comment without it being construed as some sort of indictment.
Wow, I just found this thread. These are very nice comments and I appreciate it allot. It is very difficult at times to stay on top of everything that is going on and I let allot of things slip through the cracks by accident on occasion, but it is good to see that there are allot of people out there that recognize that we are trying. Thanks guys, and I will put everyones money in the mail. lol.
