800+ srt possible.???

I have designed a concept for the srt that should be able to support over 800 hp. Few have seen the design, and it will remain this way until i produce the kit.. then its open season!!!! muh hahahahahahahahahahahaha

well you have to take into consideration the 5k i have already spent on my engine build..

 

We got a guy here in MO that is shooting for 800+whp. He's got quite a build up going. Crane 20's, 67mm t4 turbo, Im sure his price list is way higher than 8k though...

 

Don't forget the tranny won't take 800hp hell u will be lucky to find a clutch that will handle it

 

He was doin auto last I heard. I think the rage twin disk may be up to handle 800 ponies, maybe.

mine is going to use either a sc61 or a 76mm . both will use nitrous.

 

Im assuming your talking about Ryan? If so its a T-3 T67 and crane 18s....and his car wont hit 800whp.

Why do you think we never told most people about how much power we made? Never got it done at the track. Tried all season....ditched the 5 speed late last year and havent looked back.


We went through 7 clutches including a triple disc, 11 axles including DSS stage 5s, broke the LSD, input shaft, and countless other trans parts. The motors can take it all day but the 5 speeds can not.

The main problem is getting a clutch that will hold the power. Once you do that, the trans starts snapping like a twig. We even tried pre-loading the clutch to relieve some of the shock as well as a tilton valve....nothing helped. The stock trans even with a ton of billet and heat treated parts just wont take the abuse of 800+

No he is sticking with the 5 speed.

 

so do you think this will make you a 4 minute car?
