Throwing codes 0300, 0304, and 0420 (I already looked up the codes). Car has no cat and I just changed all Spark Plugs, Wires, and Coil Pack because half the coil pack wasnt working properly (thought it would solve the problem but didn't). Individually checked each wire and all 4 sparked. Its a 04. Car keeps getting worse the longer its driven, but when I shut it off and let it cool down its good. It is shaking harder in high gears on acceleration at first and as the car heats up it starts shaking harder throughout every gear at under 2k rpm which is the worst I've experienced in only a 4-6 mile drive. Also a crunching noise during acceleration. Any feedback on what could be the problem would be much appreciated.
Sounds like you might have a cracked piston or two? P304 and P300 are misfire codes. Have you done a compression check on each cylinder?
No, guess I'm off to Dodge tomorrow. Dont have what I need and hopefully they cover it under the warrenty. Thanks a lot for the input. :thanks:
Advance Auto Coil Pack (Duralast OEM) but it connects to the same connecter (pigtail) as the msd which was in there before. Gapped at .050
For starters drop that gap to at lest .040 maybe more depending on your mods, What kind of plugs are they?
Depending on how much boost he is running and what type of plugs he has he may wanna go with a .035 What type of spark plugs are you running?
17lbs boost. Spark plugs are Champion Iradium (however you spell it) Also just got back from dealership, they think it may be the map sensor? Still no one knows what it is for sure, and I wont find out till friday. At least they hooked it up with a free rental car till then.
