I have been looking for performance shops in Central Florida that specialize in SRT's. I have been a corvette man for a long time but have not found anyone that is an expert with the SRT's especially the Chargers. Also looking for websites for aftermarket products. Would appreciate any help. lease:
aftermarket websites are down in our vendor isle ....loooooooots of good stuff..... your probably near BMC Performance....they would be down for helping you out....not sure who else is in florida but the addresses are listed in the vendor isle just click forums and head aaaaaaaaaaaaaallll the way to the bottom :thumb2:
bmc is a good choice, but boca is not exactly central florida....... depending on what you are looking to do, i have a VERY good relationship with my dealer in st. cloud. if it is truly aftermarket shops, i might have to think for a minute....... yeah, maybe you should go to bmc!!!! lol
Roe Racing (Sean Roe) is in Jax. He specializes in Viper drivetrains, but probably knows of some SRT-friendly shops. www.roeracing.com
Chris, Which dealer in St. Cloud. You met a couple of my buddies a couple of weeks ago at the track. They were John and Mike. Mike was driving the red R32 and John either had his noble or his Tourag. They said you were a wealth of information. Look forward to meeting you.
YEAH!!!!! i remember meeting the guy with the noble!! friggin cool ass car!!! i think i remember him asking about my carbon intake and i was explaining to him that i make them for another company. i think he also mentioned he has/had an srt jeep if i remember correctly. very cool guys! the dealer i use in st cloud is Starling...... they treat all the members of the FLXC like royalty! they did my torque conv. install and some other various installs that i did not want to deal with at home. like i said, depending on what you are looking for, i could steer you certain directions here in the orlando area!! look forward to hooking up with you soon at an event!!!! check the club section of lxforums under the FLXC section. you will see a complete list of upcoming events!
Yeah, that was John. He did have the SRT-8 jeep. He takes his noble to Sebring every once in a while. Your wheels are they 20's or 22's or did you just lower it. Looks Hot. I have been conservative on mods. I tend to get rid of a car every year or so. This would be number 38. I have K&N CAI and JBA straight tube exhaust. Need to get tuned. Don't know what to have done now. New to Mopar, been a vette man for a long time. Having a bit of a problem with the throttle. When I floor it I get a sputter around 50 to 60 miles an hour and then it gets back on track. The dealer stated I needed to new flash. Any Ideas? Frank
Get the Diablo Predator. The canned tuned or a good CMR tune will rid you of that dreaded sputter. And buy my 22's. They'll look great on the Bee.
hahahahahaha just tryin to pawn them off on anyone hu big ron?... what are you gettin new wheels or something?
Yes we are in West Palm, a few hours south of you, but we do specialize in LX/LC cars. Let us know how we can help!
I have been looking at some new wheels. Don't know if I want 20's or 22's. I want to keep the performance. I have been looking at some Vossen's and Tork Icon's.
My Intro's (Parent company is I-Forge/ID Wheels) are a 3 piece forged rim. Total weight with tires on the 22's are 4lbs per rim heavier than the OEM 20's. Use the 22's for cruising and styling and switch over to the DR's for track runs. Looks like the Vossen's are a 1 piece Stainless Steel rim. Very HEAVY and would not keep your performance. The Tork Icon's are the same as the Vossen's.
you can get them widened....ask mr Leggy where he got his widened....hes running 20x10.5's in the back if im not mistaken .....otherwise you have to get "replicas"
