Kevan is either repainting (or powder coating) the Valve Covers, or he will be demonstrating valve adjustments, or both. lol
Decided to go with HEMI Orange for the valve covers on a Viper engine. It's my attempt at a sleeper. Actually, I'm doing none of the above. But I am headed to JEG'S in a few minutes......
Then the only other thing I can think of, that requires the VC's to be removed, is that you will be relocating the plug wires and coil packs? Hopefully you put the VC's back on before you went to Jegs, otherwise you will have to do a few other DIY's. lol
I know I know!!!!!!! But i wont tell. HAHA Sorry i did not help out kevan i was on the wrong end of a beer can or two lastnighs
Coil packs and plug wires are under the INTAKE. Oh, and that's not it either. Nah. They've got temporary covers on them right now. No funky-gunk getting in there while the covers go to the machine shop. JEG'S had every component I needed. Except for one. Which the guy promptly ordered for me.... ....and is being overnighted to my house... .....at no extra charge! WIN!
Gotta drop some props to my machine shop (Exact Machine in Sunbury, OH) for their instantaneous and well-within-budget work. Also big props to Keith (Bee0912) for his ideas this afternoon. Oh, and to JEG'S for their shipping and return policies.
Just don't start calling me Grey Bush. OF COURSE......I'm about to button it all up, test it quick, get the pics online, write the DIY...... ......and the last adapter is one size too small. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC........
You ARE starting to get "up there" in years, Kevan...... Maybe you should start thinking of using "Just For Men", or something, down "there"......:grin::flowers::ronlove:
I'm like a biscuit older than you, Jake. LOL I will say that I'm kinda bummed you didn't get the last two references.
