    pretty cool i think but i wont get one.
    i only uncap mine when the car is completely cold.

    Hmmm, I think it might be handy if you worked in a shop and wanted to check what temp t-stats opened at. If you're worried about burning yourself then a color change circle would do better. Red - hot, not red - not hot.
