so yesterday sucked.... bad... :somewhat graphic update beware:

As I am sitting here the morphine has completely warn off, the oxy is feeling like lil effect is wearing off... I am sober enough to post.

So at 10:30ish I was moving some Switches at work, fairly large chassis, I grabbed my last one and as I was turning to put it on a pallet my foot caught a bit of wood I lost my balance planted my foot then POP POP CRACK and I fell.

Ended up breaking my fibula in 2 places near my ankle and dislocated my foot. I spent 6 hours in the ER doped up, and feeling like shit. I did not look at it until the docs pulled off the splint the EMTs put on and I am really surprised my foot was still attatched... :le sigh:

So I am completely out of work until the 3rd, I will need pins in it

so yeah... needed a pitty party...

it was bad man.... it appeared to be completely limp when they moved my foot. I could move my toes still but you could feel the bands in my foot rubbing wrong when I did. So painful...

A few years back on new years I busted my azz going down a flight of stairs cause i was in a rush. Stepped the wrong way, rolled my ankle, severly pulled a tendon and fractured the 5th metatarsal (sp).

Needless to say, I did get down the steps quite fast. :yawn:
