Gentelman, I don't want to get into a pissing contest about the srt4 calibration.. All I can say is I have been tuning the DCX vehicle line for many years. I have calibrated the SRT4 long before anyone else could.. Again I will say it the SRT4 stock factory calibrations have a rev and MPH Limiter the MPH limit is set to 158 MPH on the Factory calibration..And yes I know that it is higher on the Stage PCM's. Again I am refering to the factory stock calibration.. My point with the SCT Advantage software is you can read the Torque managment Factory MPH setting and you will also see that it will say 158 MPH.. Hope this helps.

    SRT4 Factory MPH = 158
    SRT8 Factory MPH = 170
    SRT10 Factory MPH = 255
    Viper Factory MPH = 255

First off Ram48 is my Pop and he is speaking of our project car. All in all Im happy with the B&G reflash it does what it is supposed to do and Dave answers the phone most every time you try to call.
Since the reflash is done with the stage 0 pcm if your running a piggy back or at least the D-tec plan on getting the PO1187 code for (air / fuel monitoring) the same as you would with a stock Stage 0 pcm on a piggyback. So if you have to pass an OBD II inspection in your state you better keep a Stage 1 pcm in your closet as it will ignore the piggyback.
OK We are still tryin' to sort out a breakup over 6000rpm and weak topend(ignition system coming soon) Im not blaming the B&G for this. We are also running Crower stage 2 cams in the car and were getting a misfire code which was not present with the Stage 1 pcm. Just to let people know it seems to be a good product so far just remember its for OFF ROAD USE ONLY.

Guy's We offered a upgrade to the Factory PCM to try and help out the guy's that needed higher rev limit(7000)/cooler fan on temps(198) /and a smoother timing curve (similar to the stage 1 pcm), and we helped with the overboost codes cat codes.. We knew that SCT was getting close with there tuning stuff for the SRT4 and felt that our PCM upgrade was a good alternitive over the stock box, but we felt that having tuning software was the way to go with that package..And not to mention the SRT4 forum members said that no one had broken the DCX code and could not modify the pcm so we had to prove them wrong that we could....Hope this helps..

sorry i have been absent for the last few days, don't worry if i get proven wrong i don't deny reality, i take it like a man and add it to the cabinet of knowledge already up there.

anyway i don't speak from stories of others talking about how fast they've gone or what they think the srt4 can or cannot do, in my younger, stupid days (not saying i'm not still young, just not as stupid) i mustered up the balls to take the srt as far as it would go, the needle went much farther than the 160 mark and the boost still hadn't cut off like other owners had talked about. at this time the car was unmodified. now i don't know what the dcx home boys out lined for the speed limiter, boost cut, fuel cut, ignition cut.... i have not been privileged enough to look at the stock programing, but no noticeable power cut occurred at 160+. i owned a 95 tahoe previous to the srt and that thing was governed at 97mph, now when that thing hit the govener you felt it, it would cut fuel and would feel almost like an engine brake until the speed dropped below 93mph or so, thats a fuggin govener.

i'm not trying to argue with the fact that the programming exists, after all i am an engineer, i'm just sharing my personal experience.
