There has been some recent changes. V3 beta was recently released by Mains and is our current default scheme layout. Mains has brought me upon the project. I'm working on the graphic design aspects. What you see is our beta version and many things are still to be done. Some things will be changed and others will be much improved. As of today (11/15/08), 7:09PM EST, we have Threads: 10,748, Posts: 247,628, Members: 2,266 and growing. With growth comes great success, but most important is who makes the success and that's our MEMBERS! So tell us, what would you like to see? We are opened to anything and everything. Some add-ins? Featured articles? We are even open to hear about rules, opinions, changes. We would like to make this place great for EVERYONE! So tell us... Thank you everyone!
the colors need to be changed in a hurry. this orange hurts my eyes and should be designated for the halloween holiday only.
Although I'm working on the graphic design stand point that is not my department. At the beginning stages of V3 I was told we were sticking with the color scheme of v2 (orange/black). The orange currently is a "out there flat orange" aka plain but I think we are working with something on that. Thank you for the suggestion!
ron just really like orange cause its the color of all the rocks out there in NM. hes used to looking at it. hahahaahah
I gratudated from Beavercreek H.S. in 1966. Being that I was a Battling Beaver, and our colors where orange and black, it see nothing wrong with retaining my school colors. I also like licorice and oranges. I'm actually eating some Aussie Style Soft Gourmet Licorice as I type this. I also had a glass of orange juice for breakfast.
haha, i attended oregon state university for a bit....guess what colors they were as well? doesnt mean it looks good. ahhahaahah
I don't know, they sort of even out. If you make what's white to orange then there would be too much orange . This is a stripped down version of V2. Meaning it doesn't have the gradient effects in the orange and white. Other then that V3 beta is the same as V2 scheme wise. As for the graphics, the banner has been changed and updated versions will come from it. There's going to be a few changes. This is just a beta version, its not even completed so during the process we are needing opinions/feedback/ideas/thoughts.
