So, say you got a grand to spend, max, what would you get?

Currently I have a Mopar CAI, SP Phenolic Spacers and Flowmaster Mufflers with no reso's. The max I'm spending is a thousand dollars, and I want to get as much power out of it as I can. No nitrous though. Here is my thought.

    180 T-Stat
    Diablo Predator
    CMR Tune.

Any better ideas? Thaks peoples! =)

I agree with the above...however with your other current mods a CMR is not necessary...it may give you a bit more HP, but the canned tunes are pretty good for bolt ons.
I was going to suggest the T Stat, Diablo and High Flow Cats but I forgot you moved to Cali...

pay a shop to either cut out or hollow out your cats, ill give you some phone numbers you can try.

get the diablo and the t stat. no way you should have an srt and not have a predator.

Perfect advice. But I wouldn't worry about the highflows. They'll never notice. As for hollowing out a set, not something I'd recommend.

    Check with our vendors...

BMC, RDP, HHP, PPP.... in no particular order of preference.

Couple reasons. The smell and the hassle should he get caught. Trust me, I'm no tree hugger. But the cats are there for a reason. So for his basically stock ride, IMO, it's not worth the hassle. I assume yours throws codes or do you have the rear O2's deleted??.

Oh, really? I mean, if I'm not going to really notice any bump in power or response in the throttle, I might as well save the $350 or $400 and get the throttle body? How sure are you abut this? Thanks!

Oh, cool, thanks. What HP gain should i expect out of the throttle body, better yet, out of everything? Do you have a rough estimate? Thanks!

Appreciate it guys, keep the suggestions coming. I plan on doing the work early December.

We've seen an average of 8-9 rwhp from the throttle body. The Predator will improve the shift points (which will make it feel faster) and add around 25+ hp (per Diablo). So, figure 30+ to the tires, perhaps with a faster feel from the shift points, too.

    yeah, theyre removed.

the smell really isnt that obvious when its warmed up. i decided to hollow them out instead of weld in straights just in case some cop pulled me over and looked under the car.

How much better is the 90mm Throttle body????? Is it worth the extra money?
