Lookin' to get some minor mods for the 300.... I did a search and didn't find one thread about front grills....where is the best place to get one? TIA for any info....
Do you have a specific style or look you want?....theres a few places that you can look... I would start with 402 Performance.... http://www.srtconnection.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=194 Wingless front 300 grill: http://www.srtconnection.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10485
Thanks for the link. I like the wingless grill, but I didn't know you had to replace almost the whole front fascia...LOL! Anyone know if there any issues with the paint matching? I just got my RK Sport hood painted on my Vette and it isn't perfect under certain lighting.....
if it comes from 402...the paint will be as good as it gets...i wouldnt take my car anywhere else and will eventually have them do under my good :thumb: If you have any specific questions just shoot any of the guys from 402 a PM and ask...they are good peeps!
:tip:... im sure there are more out there but 402's a good place to start...they probably have more than just that one but it was the one i knew of off the top of my head
I have to agree! 402 is a bit more money but the guy is a perfectionist. So you get what you pay for. DO IT! DO IT! I used him in the past. He painted my interior, radio bezel etc. When I start making money he will be doing more sh_tuff for me! Look up Mikes mag on LX forums. He did the entire car. He also has a link to his other works of art. I think! Including a grey, black and red R/T that looks like an SRT. His cars win at every show I have been to.
This is the MOPAR Dub edition Grille: Now new, it's $750 but I bought mine used on the forum for sale ads for $350 Not a damn thing wrong with 402's products by the way. Eric
This may be a dumb question, but is there any reduction in airflow to the radiator with this dub grill versus the stock grill?
I did a Grip Tuning piece on my CSRT8 with diamond black mesh behind it and in all the lower openings of the front fascia. Install was a breeze. It fits well and the only time consuming piece of the work was trimming, fitting and attaching the mesh. I think the little nicks and scratches on my hands have finally healed...LOL Here's a pic: I've since gotten rid of the headlight squirters, filled the bumper caps and powdercoated the wheels to clean up the look a bit:
