Yea, I pulled the vid off of the OC. I posted there that with a 137 mph, 9's are inevitable.

yeah, i actually went over to lxf and read the thread. pretty damn impressive if you ask me. what i am interested in is the trans comments. sounds like there was a lot of work put into "tuning" the trans. i am sure the 3.55 rear end helped a bit as well!!! lol

Are there any pics of the roll bar in that Charger? I was wondering how clean it looks.

ok so if the are making 10psi with a ysi is that going to make the same power as rons blower at 10 psi. I mean PSI that is the same makes the same hp right? or am I way off?

The motor size is different so HP will be different. Injectd is running a 440 motor.

Yes and no. Yes 10psi is 10 psi no matter what the size of the unit, however it comes down to the volume of pressurised air the uinits can flow at 10psi. This will show a difference in horsepower between the 2. A good example is blowing 10 psi through a straw then doing the same with a 3inch pipe.

    10psi pushing 200cc air >10psi with 50cc air
    More power>less power

It also has a lot to do with the efficiency of the unit. You will most commonly find that smaller units work harder to achieve the same boost levels that a larger unit achieves (talking same brands ie a V4 - V7 etc)

This has a knock on effect and is where it could show a benefit to running the larger unit (if the engine needs it though). Less effort/work means less heat-more effort/work more heat. Heat kills hp so the larger unit is likely to be more efficient here and will show better power gains (Running the same intercoolers etc).

HOWEVER there are draw backs to running a bigger unit over a smaller one which could see the smaller one make more power. It takes more effort from the motor to turn the larger blower as opposed running a smaller unit. So if you comparing identical motors with different sized blowers if it ain't set up right, you not getting the full potential from your engine or blower. You could also find that you would be tuning your car "defensively" or "safe tune" which removes power to make it safe to run. Tune the same vehicle setup with a smaller more appropriate blower and your tuner will be sqeezing everything he can out of it.

Does that make sense. There are plenty of reason good and bad but in answer to your questions yes 10psi is the same no matter how you look at it. You only need to compare the volume of air at (same) pressure between either to determine what could add more power to that particular engine/setup. Then you need to determine if that unit is best suited to your build based on what is done.
